Re: What I Played

(EXTRACTED for explanation below) For example we spent a long time building a list of things our colonists believed, but it turned out the list was only used for smearing each other in PvP combat which we didn't really do. Thanks for your kind words ("great experience," "fun" - I certainly understa...

Re: SAT-01 The Quiet Year (2-3 more players needed)

PS - I'm glad to facilitate for any overflow if there's enough for 2 tables, this could be marked on the sign-up sheet.

Re: Games I'm bringing and theme this year....

Amending: will bring Quiet Year but will definitely NOT be pitching it or posting a period as others will be facilitating it and I signed up for a slot of it to get to play.

(edited - removed bringing Dogs in an attempt to limit materials carried - means no polyhedrals)

Re: Orion's Games

Would like to purchase Spilled Milk if a copy exists. Enjoyed that last year.

Hope to try out something you run, the list sounds good.

Re: My lineup

Not sure if timing will permit, but would like to try out one of the Norwegian ones. Into Quiet Year, would like to try Wilding Tales. Not as into Love in the Time of Seið, but only because I've tried it out and would have other priorities. I would recommend it to most anyone. Looking forward to see...

Games I'm bringing and theme this year....

I'm going to bring a few games, most of which I'll put up ad-hoc once there, either adding to the schedule if it makes sense or, more likely, pitching in the "doughnut hole." FYI those include (in addition to already-mentioned Blowback elsewhere in this forum): inSpectres Don't Rest Your Head, for w...

Blowback - a spy game similar to Burn Notice

I've now run Blowback a number of times as a one-shot, and after a good bit of trial and error have arrived at, I hope and tend to believe anyway, a solid way to run it. However, it does take more time than the typical slots at GPNW to be a solid game and provide a great insight into Blowback. (FYI ...

Re: Seeking Advice on running my First Playtest

I am no expert, either, though I have done a fairly good number of playtests by now. So with that in mind, I'd add a few notes to the excellent comments already above: - it can be a tough choice between making a change during the run versus ensuring a solid testing of a concept; just be prepared tha...

SUN-01 Slammin'

Jackson Tegu's Slammin', as he wrote it: "This is a game about flighty, self-obsessed, over-indulged douche bags hooking up with one another night after night at a bar where they hang out. They're in their twenties and thirties, annoyingly hott, and really really into their individual internal monol...
